how does the downpayment work?

Accepted Answer

A downpayment of 3-5% is required to participate in the Rent to Own program.

Each case is assessed independently. In some circumstances, it is possible that  a downpayment higher than 5% is required.

can i choose any home for the rent-to-own program?

Accepted Answer

Most homes are eligible for the rent-to-own program. This program is available for residential homes and condos. The home must meet the lender's criteria for value, location, and marketability. Anita and Camille, your REALTORS®, will help you find qualified homes that fit both your needs and the lender's criteria.

This program is not available for mobile/modular homes, preconstruction properties, commercial properties, inhabitable homes, or vacant land.

The lender owns it while you lease it. You're the future buyer.

Upon successful completion of the program, the title of the house is transferred to you.

You'll work closely with our lending partners throughout the term to ensure you're on track. They'll help you adjust as needed to reach your goal.

Our lender-partner rent-to-own program allows you to live in the home while building equity, make renovations, or even lease it out during the rent-to-own period.
